The Candle Archive Box

A rotating selection of candles, released in small batches and offered at a reduced price.

Each box is made up from what we have available in the studio at the time, from full-price favourites to one-off pours, archive scents, and reclaimed vessels. Everything is made to the same standard as our core range, just not always in a form that fits neatly into it.

This is how we keep materials in use, reduce waste, and make space for new work, without compromising on quality.

What to expect

Each box is different, but may include a mix of:

• Full-price candles from our core range
• Studio samples and small batch pours
• Archive or unreleased fragrances
• Second Life vessels (reused glassware)
• Ex-display or photography pieces
• Candles with minor cosmetic imperfections

All candles are fully functional and burn as intended. Any imperfections are purely visual and do not affect performance.

A note on fragrance & selection

Because this is a mixed and ever-changing selection, we’re unable to offer scent preferences.

If something isn’t quite to your taste, we encourage you to gift pieces to friends or keep them for future use as each box is designed to offer variety and discovery.

Why we offer this

Not everything we make fits neatly into a collection.

Rather than discounting our core range or letting materials go to waste, we gather these pieces into small runs and offer them here. It allows us to keep materials in circulation, reduce unnecessary waste, and give you access to candles that may never be available again.

Limited releases

These boxes are not available all the time.

We release them in small batches when enough pieces have built up in the studio. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. It may be weeks or even months before the next release.

If you’d like to know when the next batch is available, we recommend joining our mailing list for early access and updates.

Sustainability

By using recycled wax and reusing materials wherever possible, each box helps reduce the need for new raw materials.

We estimate that:

• 1kg of recycled wax avoids ~0.48–0.65 kgCO₂e
• Reusing glass further reduces energy and material use

Exact impact will vary depending on the contents of each box, but every piece plays a part in keeping materials in use and supporting a more circular approach to making.

Variation & presentation

Each Candle Archive Box is made from what we have available at the time, so vessels, finishes and packaging will vary. Some pieces may arrive without standard outer packaging, or in reused and repurposed materials as part of our effort to reduce waste. Any marks or imperfections will be cosmetic only and will not affect how the candles burn.

Made by Richard

Every candle in this box has been poured, finished and packed by hand by Richard. From collecting and sorting used wax, to melting, blending and pouring each batch, everything is done in-house in Lancashire. It’s a hands-on process from start to finish, and part of what makes each piece slightly different.
